Here are a few things I have been thinking of doing and will follow through with them very shortly.

I'm going to pull a couple of inches of lift. This means I'm going to have to tub the rear. If I tub the rear I'm going to make it so that I have pockets for extended shock mounts that are outboard of the frame.

The things that are going to get in the way are the bumpouts in the rear seats. I'm going to cut those out and sew the fabric back together. This will let me still have a function cargo area. Or find a couple of low back buckets..... :-D

This will give me the room to tub the wheel wells and trim the rear fenders for tire clearance for when it gets lowered.

The truck may be comming off the road for a bit to get some of these things done.

Things to follow are D44 outers on the D35. (Just need to pull the engine and trans I plan to trade for the D44 stuff. This weekend I will get to it.) I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for this.

The rear trac-loc is comming out and I will replace it with a modified open carrier to be spooled.

Relocate the front mounted shocks as the way I have them now it puts alot of stress on the rad arm stud/bolt. Going to figure out a better way to mount the coil to the beam.

Add bumpstops to new compressed height.

May look at limit straps for the rear

Fiberglass fender extensions (Widebody :-D )

... Versus Cutting the factory seat etc, had you thought of switching to a suzuki rear seat. Tracker/Sidekick Rear seat is a good old fashion fold and tumble (Like a scout, FS Bronco) in addition to being very narrow. I've seen alot fo jeep guys use them after tubbing out the rear wheel wells.

Basically a mini wrangler seat.

Fully Closed up there like 10 inches thick. You could mount the brackets right at the edge of the floor hummix, so when It folded up it would be against the back of the front seats.

The only downside I could see, other then its like having two fatguys on a loveseat, is that theres a ring bolted to the floor that the seat latches into to hold it secure. But one could always spend the time to mount it recessed into the floor and mod the latch a little to work.

Looking at these major dimensions

seat width 34"
seat back height 17" (from hinge)
ass cushion thing length (from hinge) 16"

I know Ive seen some pics on teh net of a EB with tubbed inners with a sami seat. After matching seat covers you wouldnt know the differance unless you knew what you were looking for.

The upside is most sami guys throw them away in lue of some cargo space.

Picked up 4 new D44 ball joints. Just need to get new beams for some plate and truss work. then they will get reworked to have D44 outers.

I already have aluminum 15 x 8 wheels and the rear adapters. I need to replace the studs in one of them ans they are pretty hashed.

I've got 6 new shocks waiting to go on. I just need to rework the front mounted shock mounts and get the modified beams into place.
